How to choose a suction cup dildo
A dildo with a suction cup frees up your hands and opens up new positions. The base matters as much as the shaft, so start there.
Surfaces that hold
Suction needs a smooth, flat, non-porous surface: glazed tiles, glass, mirrors, sealed and varnished wood, or a smooth headboard. Grouted joints, textured tiles, painted walls, fabric and untreated wood will not hold a seal, so the cup will lift.
Getting a good seal
Clean and dry both the surface and the base, then add a few drops of water to the cup and press down firmly from the centre outwards. Keep lube off the base itself. A slightly warm room helps the cup stay flexible. Twist gently or lift an edge to release, rather than pulling straight off.
Hands-free positions
On the floor or a chair, you can ride at your own pace and control depth. On a shower wall, a standing or kneeling position works well. Fixing one to a flat surface at bed height lets you lean back into it. Start slow until you trust the seal.
Vibrating or not
A vibrating suction cup dildo, such as the Adrien Lastic Dual Density Cushioned Core or the remote-controlled SilexD 8.5 inch, adds buzz while you stay hands-free. Non-vibrating models are simpler, lighter and usually cheaper.
Harness compatible bases
Most suction cup dildos also fit an O-ring harness, so one toy covers solo and partnered play. Smaller, non-phallic options, like the Loving Joy 6 Inch Silicone Dildo, suit pegging and beginners. Check the product page for harness fit.
Material and cleaning the base
Our range includes silicone and PVC models, so check the material on the product page. PVC is more porous and needs extra care. Wash the shaft and the underside of the cup with warm water and unscented soap or toy cleaner, as fluff and dust collect there and weaken the seal. Dry fully before storing.
Looking for more lifelike options? See our realistic dildos, pick a harness from our strap-ons, or grab a water-based lube.

Frequently asked
What surfaces do suction cup dildos stick to?
Smooth, flat, non-porous ones: glazed tiles, glass, mirrors and sealed wood. They won't hold on grout lines, textured or painted surfaces, fabric or carpet.
Why won't my suction cup stick?
Usually the surface is textured, dusty or not quite flat, or there is lube on the base. Clean and dry both, add a little water to the cup and press firmly from the centre.
Can I use a suction cup dildo in a harness?
Most fit an O-ring harness, as the cup acts as a flared base that holds it in place. Check the product page for harness compatibility.
Can I use a suction cup dildo anally?
Yes, as long as it has a flared base, which a suction cup provides. Start with a smaller size, go slowly and use plenty of lube.
Are vibrating suction cup dildos waterproof?
It depends on the model, so check the product page before using one in the shower or bath. Non-vibrating dildos have no electronics and can go anywhere water can.
Is delivery discreet?
Always. Plain, unbranded packaging. UK delivery is free over £50 and £5.99 below that.
